Secret Jesus Bible Codes

Is it any surprise that Christians are manufacturing the death machines for the U.S. military?

Apparently, profiting from war doesn't bother these people of "peace" and "love". But then, has history given us a reason to think it ever did?

Is christianity an heretical combination of Gnosticism and Judaism as suggested by Michael Baigent in The?

Jesus Papers?

Actually there is nothing Jewish at all about Christianity. Christianity is more a mix of Greek and Egyptian paganism as well as Mithra...........with Jewish names.

Did Jesus Exist Forum

One of the most difficult things that you could ever have to face in a relationship, is wondering if your boyfriend or the guy you are dating has lost interest in you. The easiest way in which you can figure this out is to ask him outright, however it can be very difficult. Heed the following points when asking a guy this serious question, so you can avoid potential pain.

Check Your Emotions At The Door

If you are too emotional, it can cause you to do and say things that will hinder the overall success of your mission and make you look like a raging lunatic. Try to keep yourself calm, cool, and collected in order to convey the right message without seeming insane are accusative.

Be Strong

Even if you are intimidated by his manly awesomeness, you need to make sure he feels that you are not, and that you think you are both on level ground. If you are able to convince him you have authority, he will be more likely to answer you honestly and respect you for asking.

Keep Your Cool

Be calm. If you ask him and it starts to get out of control, you may end up with a large problem where it did not exist before. Try to maintain a clam state, and keep your game face on.

Dress To Impress

Try to dress as sexy and hot as you can before you ask him, not only will he be tripped up in his words, but he will be more likely to regain interest if he already has, and therefore you can keep him around a whole lot longer.

Do Not Be Afraid To Apologize

Now if he says that he has lost interest for something, regardless of whether or not you think it is your fault, you need to make sure that you are willing to take the blame and make up for it. If you want to keep your relationship together, you will do this to mend broken ties.

Avoid Pointing Any Fingers

Sure, he is cold and withdrawing himself from your relationship slightly, but that does not mean that you can blame him for all of your problems. You need to make sure that he knows he can confide in you and that you will forgive him.

Do Not Pull the "If You Really Loved Me" Card, EVER

Trying to force him back into your arms is the worst move you could ever make. It will only drive him away faster, and he will instantly think you are a control freak.

Jesus Bloodline Theory

Why do you still doubt the truth of Jesus?

All the evidence has ever shown was that he was alive. Ressurection was done in the form of his disciples moving a rock.....wow, big deal, certainly not a miracle. Everything else is made up by the church. A church that has made more lies and twisted tales and murder than anything in the history of the world. Why can't you give Dan Brown some credit. Nobody is saying it is all true, but there is no way to disprove the theory of a bloodline. And more and more evidence is popping up that shows he did have at least one child. Why can't you see? God always has existed, but aliens crossbreeding with humans is far more likely than what the fictional bible says. Do some research and you will see that in the time of Jesus, even his closest disciples never claimed divinity. That was added by the church. Judeo Christianity states that he was a mortal man and a leader or hero if you will, a savior. Savior does not mean divine. Wake up. Please. Therapy time is over.

You're funny. No evidence shows that he lived.

Jesus Birthplace Bethlehem

Christmas in the Holy Land is probably not quite what you'd expect. As this is the birthplace of Jesus, you'd be forgiven for thinking that there would be some real razzmattazz, and just perhaps the finest humdinger of a Christmas party. Well, you might be in for a disappointment.

Just walking through the streets of Tel Aviv or Jerusalem or any other big town during December and you might just end up with a feeling that something's missing. OK, so Jewish people don't usually celebrate Christmas, but there's something very strange about shopping in a shopping centre in December without a sign of tinsel or reindeer. And maybe that's not a bad thing...

But if you're interested in getting a real feel for Christmas, then it has to be a day trip over to Bethlehem, especially on Christmas Eve. It's quite easily reached these days, though we'd highly recommend getting an organized bus over there to at least negotiate its way through the security checkpoints on your behalf. Once safely there, you just have to sing some Christmas carols in Manger Square and visit the Church of the Nativity. This is, of course, where Jesus was born and the contrast with the commercial festivities of Christmas back home makes it all the more special. Next to the altar, down a winding staircase, is the actual cave where Jesus was born. A silver star on the floor marks the spot, and yes, it can be quite moving, especially observing the power of the moment on others more believing.

Whatever your denomination, you're sure to find something to enjoy in Bethlehem on Christmas Eve as there are multiple services and processions, including Catholic, Protestant, Greek Orthodox, Ethiopian, Armenian and more. For the more touristy of us, I believe you can still get a Bethlehem Christmas passport stamp from the Post Office next to Manger Square. Nice to have and show the friends/family back home.

Another place worth visiting over Christmas is Nazareth, another Israeli-Arab town, full of plastic Santas and a wide variety of artificial Christmas trees. This is probably the only place in Israel where you'll feel any semblance of being "back home". You can also get Christmas decorations in South Tel Aviv (around the Central Bus Station), if you really need to spruce up your Christmas hotel or hostel room.

If you plan on staying in Tel Aviv over Christmas, instead of the Bethlehem trip you can always check out the Midnight Mass in Jaffa before heading to somewhere like the MASH Bar, or Mike's Place for some real festive spirit of the wet and alcoholic kind. You might even find some misteltoe hanging around...

If you don't make it to Bethlehem or Nazareth or even the Midnight Mass in Jaffa, there are always groups of anglo expats who celebrate in their own way. It's not quite the same as back home, but for a few hours at least, you should be able to feel a little festive. Wherever you end up, we hope you have a fantastic Christmas in the Holy Land!

Recent Jesus Research

Christians, can you find how many bits of information in the Bible can now be substantiated?

I noted "Christians" but I'm available to any open-minded people who are willing to research this question...I'm asking in light of the recent finding of the "Believed" Noah's Ark artifact....How many artifacts or bits of information from the Bible or from God or Jesus' thoughts and situations can be substantiated at present......as in pottery dating from an episode in the Bible, or a city giving light of ancient Biblical History?

Any thoughts? Evidence?

The Ark has been imagined, dreamed, relived in many accounts.

Visual rediscoveries indicate that the Holy bible is reread, prophecies of Jesus Christ/ Yahshua of Nazareth are examined.

Since his first coming mortally the last says, even the last 2 thousand years seemed to always have evil in the world,, and the things spoken of him by him.

Pottery, stone redepictions or any other object give 100% of the ark of Noah , God of the bible to unbelievers and even believers in Messiah Jesus .?

The specific sizes of the ark are some means to having measurement, intelligence. Yet his mortal age seems to old and refutes the modern belief and interpretations.

So if the ark of Noah was rebuilt from its original form...then we realize this too is not enough to convert those not called, chosen and even the naturals to the covenants of God of the bible.

Travel excursions to Mouny Arrart and so forth did not convince the world and many believers as issues of politics, war, Islamic denials, travel to these locales were forbidded to the fre press.

Rememebr that the waters had to subside before Noah, his family and the animals finally got off the ark.
The promises of God seemed to regenerate mankind back then and show that God despises sins and soverignly proclaimed judgement in spite of others thinking that he is treacherous, evil or wrong..

Jesus Papers Baigent

Is it fine Supporting "The Jesus Papers" by Michael Baigent of his hypothesis on Jesus(peace up on him)

I mean Jesus is not Crucified!
forgive me But he says in his book!

the truth is more important than the bible. Maybe he is wrong, but we should examine his case without predjudice. The real truth is that the whole history of Yeshua has been so politicized that its become next to impossible to find out what really happened. Thanks to book burning christians, the world will never know till we build a time machine.

On the other hand, i haven't read the book so i don't know,
but it doesn't sound like what he actually would say if hes a scholar. Many modern scholars might contend that there is a real possibility that jesus was a woman, that there was no actual crucifiction and that that story was added later, or that he survived by being drugged.

Did Jesus Exist Italy

Faith in Italy, question for Christians.?

So Italy is a very religious country., Over 90% of Italians identify themselves as Catholics or believe in God and Jesus. Italy is also the location of Vatican City, the center of all Catholicism and is where some extremely important priests reside including the Pope.
Here’s the problem, Italy is doing horrible. It’s economy is growing slower than any other EU country. The Economist stated “Infrastructure is crumbling, the investment climate is unwelcoming, inflation is troubling and productivity growth has been low(actually negative), The education and health care systems are deteriorating, public administration is inefficient and corrupt, etc.”
So if God exists, why is he treating some of his most loyal people so horribly while countries like Japan which has under 1% Christian population roll around in money?

Several things could be going on here.

First, if any country is having financial and economic difficulties, it probably is the fault of the leaders of the country. They made bad decisions, I would imagine and this is the consequence of those bad decisions.

And not wanting to slam Catholics, but if they're sitting around praying to Mary and all the patron saints about their problems and repitiously saying the rosary, that's not going to get them anywhere. It takes a one-on-one relationship with Jesus Himself to get prayers answered.

Infant Jesus Statue

Why don't Christians say the rosary, confess their sins to a priest, pray to the statue of St. Theresa and?

baptize their infant children if they are the same as Catholics?

Then Jehovah Witnesses, like Christians are Catholics also? They all believe in Jesus Christ, does that make them the same? Why then the change of names.

I am totally confused and my question is addressed only for seeking knowledge from those who know , not with any criticism towards any of those denominations.

Many of our Protestant friends appreciate Mary in a way their ancestors didn't. This is a good thing. Some of them even like her a lot, and in a way that their ancestors would denounce. This is an even better thing. But there are limits, which too many Catholics just can't see.

By "Protestant" I'm thinking particularly of our Evangelical friends who are, in doctrinal seriousness and many other ways, close to us. For centuries they simply ignored Mary, even at Christmas. The only time they thought of her in any substantial way was when they were denouncing Catholic teaching, which they thought idolatrous, unbiblical, superstitious, and a rejection of the Lord Himself in favor of His mother.

She was for them, as an Evangelical pastor once said to me, just "the delivery system" needed to bring Jesus into the world. The Incarnation required a human mother; God picked Mary; she agreed, and in nine months Jesus was born. Since He had to have a mother, who it was didn't really matter. Having this child didn't change her in any way. Once Jesus was old enough to take of Himself, her small part in our salvation was over.

An Episcopal minister told me that Mary was well down the list of "great Christians." Asked for an example, he said she was well behind a 19th-century British missionary to Canada named Hudson Taylor. If you wanted an example of faithfulness, he said, look to Taylor before you look to Mary.

After all, he said, she didn't really do anything. She just had a baby.
But things are changing. One can guess at the reasons: The culture so promotes women that a heavily masculine tradition will prudently look to its sources for famous women to feature. Mary is the obvious first choice, though some Evangelicals have wanted "stronger" women as their examples of biblical women to follow, because they think of Mary as passive and her calling too typically feminine. (After all, she didn’t really do anything. She just had a baby.)

But this new and growing affection for Jesus' mother is also the result of their piety finally free to play itself out, now that many of the prejudices and commitments of the past have lost some of their power. They love their Lord and begin feeling a natural affection for His mother, and often begin to look more closely at who she is in the Gospels. They begin to reflect on what her assent to the angel's news means, and on what the prayer we call the Magnificat says about her; some even begin to look at the Old Testament for ways she may have been anticipated there.

The Southern Baptist theologian Timothy George, a leader in that world, has admitted, "We have been afraid to praise and esteem Mary for her full worth." This he wants to change, and offers several substantial suggestions for doing so, stressing aspects of Mary and her work that Evangelicals have not talked about much but that follow from their theological commitments.

Writing in the major Evangelical magazine Christianity Today a couple of years ago, he said that an "Evangelical retrieval of a proper biblical theology of Mary will give attention to five explicit aspects of her calling and ministry: Mary as the daughter of Israel, as the virgin mother of Jesus, as Theotokos, as the handmaiden of the Word, and as the mother of the Church."

Bethlehem Jesus Birthplace

Why is Jesus referred to as Jesus of Nazareth if he was born in Bethlehem?

Doesn't the 'Of Nazareth' refer to his birthplace?

http://www.slate.com/id/2207398/?y=1

Both Joseph and Mary were residents of Nazareth when Gabriel announced the approaching birth of Jesus. (Lu 1:26, 27; 2:4, 39) Later, after their return from Egypt, they took up residence in Nazareth again. It was in Nazareth where Jesus was raised. That's why he is called of Jesus of Nazareth rather that Jesus of Bethlehem, the actual town where he was born.

It's Christmas! Can you feel it HERE? (Christmas in the Philippines)

It's Christmas! Can you feel it HERE?
(Christmas in the Philippines)
-by: Bernadette L. Chiu
PS2A

"Christmas is the time of loving and sharing something to others." - The most common statement heard from Filipinos when asked what Christmas is all about. It is so pleasing to hear but it also conveys a negative meaning subliminally. I believe we should love and share something to others even though we are not in the advent season. But, what is Christmas really all about?

Christmas is celebrated every 25th of December of the year. Moreover, it is considered the biggest holiday of the calendar. Also, Christmas season is the time believed by the Christians when Virgin Mary gave birth to the son of God named Jesus Christ when God sent the Holy Spirit and message through the Angel Gabriel.

Filipinos are known to be very religious for the reason that the Philippines is considered as one of the leading Christian countries globally. Thus, I can say that this nation has a distinctive way of celebrating Christmas. There are number of traditions and ways of how Christmas is celebrated in the Philippines in which these mores are uniquely found in our country.

First, the Philippines is known as the only country in the world that celebrates the advent season very long. Normally, when -ber months are about to begin, Filipinos start to put Christmas decorations in and out of their houses. The most famous and native is the parol which adds more beauty and life to the doors of their homes. Furthermore, Christmas carols and songs are being played for as early as September. Then this fruitful time of the year lasts up until Epiphany that usually falls on the 6th of January. Hence, Christmas of Filipinos is typically very long, particularly a 6-monthlong celebration.

Another distinctive tradition of Filipinos during advent is the Misa de Gallo or locally known as the Simbang gabi. Here, Filipino Christians wake up early in the morning to hear mass and to eat delicious puto bumbongs and bibingka afterwards. This Misa de Gallo is composed of 9 morning masses, in which Filipinos believe that if you have completed those nine, your wishes will somehow come true. This belief makes Filipinos go up from their comfortable couches to go to church in as early as 4:00 in the morning and complete the traditional Simbang gabi. In addition, some people attend the morning masses for the sake of worship, acquaintance, and just to eat the native delicacies.

One more famous Filipino Christmas activity is paghingi ng Aguinaldo or pangangaroling. Although it does not originally come from the Pilippines, pangangaroling was totally embraced by the Filipinos and it became part of the conventional doings during Christmas time. Almost every child had undergone this activity in their lives. I guess pangangaroling every Christmas time is already part of the childhood stage of a person. You would typically see children play tambourine made up of soft drink tanzans and hear them singing with wacky voices and wrong lyrics. Haha. Also, who would not know the famous "Sa may báhay ang áming báti: "Merry Christmas na maluwalháti!" Ang pag-íbig, pag siyàng naghári, Aràw-áraw ay mágiging Paskó lagí! Ang sanhî po ng pagparíto, Ay híhingi po ng áginaldo. Kung sakáli't kami'y perhuwísyo, pasensya na kayó't kamí'y namámasko!"? And the naughty "Thank you, thank you, ang babait ninyo, thank you" when you were given something by the owner of the house; and would change the lyrics into "Thank you, thank you, and babarat ninyo, thank you" if you were given nothing.

Those are just the most well-known among the many Filipino Christmas activities done specifically in this country. The others include: the Noche Buena that serves as an ultimate family bonding during Christmas Eve; Santa Claus which is not originally from the Philippines, yet creates a big impact on Filipino children; Christmas parties which has Kris Kringle, monitos and monitas to add twists in exchange gifts. Exchanging gifts has always been a part of Christmas holidays. It proves that Filipinos are really thoughtful and generous. It has been said that Philippines is a poor country in terms of financial aspects but when Christmas comes, it has been an ethic that Filipinos get to go malling to buy gifts for their loved-ones. Hence, despite of the financial problems we encounter, we still get to spend money for others and for Christmas sake.

Truly, Filipino culture is a very rich one. Moreover, traditional Christmas activities are also part of our culture, thus making the latter richer. Christmas is indeed the most wonderful time of the year. And in the Philippines, it is made MORE superb. Definitely, in as early as September, you can already feel the spirit of Christmas here that will last until early January and until all Christmas decorations have been removed.

I can say that overall, Christmas in the Philippines is really great. It is correlated with Jesus, Christians, family, and the society. Maybe here, we cannot experience a white Christmas but then again, I would still choose to celebrate the birth of our Jesus in this lovely country. However, the most important matter here is on how you can make everyday a Christmas day by doing constructive acts daily. In that way, we can be so good to others, then obtaining peace and harmony comes next. Let us all be positive and feel the spirit of Christmas everyday.
