Jesus Vs Satan Game

Well, all I have to say is 'wow' at the promo HBK did yesterday. Man, what did you all think of that?

Lmfao! HBK is friggin brilliant. That promo he cut as the very opposite of The Undertaker in all white and holiness was friggin awesome. I wish there were a wrestler really like that. HBK has been besting The Deadman in his mind games now since their feud started. No one has ever been able to best the Deadman in his mind games. I don't really even remember other superstars playing Taker's mind games like this. Not even fake Taker did it plus the real Taker wasn't around. LMFAO! I especially loved when HBK broke out in dance after that whole spooky holy stuff. Hahaha! Looks like it's Satan vs. Jesus. LoL! I also couldn't tell, did Taker actually tear through the ring apron like he used to do back in the 90s? Where did he come from exactly?

i thought,"HOLY CRAP ITS THE KKK!"

Among the most famous of these catacombs are the catacombs of Domatilla, San Callisto, and Sts. Marcellinus and Peter. Other early examples of Roman Christian art can be found in Roman sarcophagi, several of which are now housed in the Vatican. Early Christian churches in Rome and Ravenna, most dating from the 5th century AD, show the beginnings of Byzantine style artwork. Manuscripts of the Christian Bible were also beginning to be produced in this period. Jesus Christ Superstar Lyrics

Are you familiar with the song "Poor Jerusalem" from the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar"?

Obviously these are not the words of Jesus Christ as documented in the Gospels of the New Testament, but perhaps they were inspired by Him.

What do you understand these lyrics to mean?

Do you believe that they bring us any insight into the current state of Israel?

Into the history of and current state of poltical and religious warfare between the followers of the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam)?

Into life?

"Poor Jerusalem"

Neither you, Simon, nor the fifty thousand,
Nor the Romans, nor the Jews,
Nor Judas, nor the twelve
Nor the priests, nor the scribes,
Nor doomed Jerusalem itself
Understand what power is,
Understand what glory is,
Understand at all,
Understand at all.
If you knew all that I knew, my poor Jerusalem,
You'd see the truth, but you close your eyes.
But you close your eyes.
While you live, your troubles are many, poor Jerusalem.
To conquer death, you only have to die.
You only have to die.

Its looking at what Jesus is going to do on the cross. Its Andrew Lloyd Webbers' of Prophecy. Jesus knew that he was going to die for the people of jerusalem, his disciples, and the whole of mankind.

Kathleen and Laura make a trip to meet the Discalced Nuns in Valparaiso, NE in May 2010. On the way home we wound up with visits to friends and family. (This convent was recommended to us by a priest from the Fraternity of St. Peter - they're very traditional with the Latin Mass said every day and the Divine Office chanted in Latin as well.)

Jesus Optical Illusion Dots

Modern medical science in our society has risen to an almost god-like status among us. We are running to the doctor at any sign of physical or mental discomfort. Relinquishing all responsibility for our healing to the medical system. It seems that this practise by all accounts is stretching the traditional health care system to the point of breaking.

The intent of this article series called "The Overlight Process" is to view healing from a totally different perspective putting the power back to the individual where I believe it belongs. Instead of treating an imbalance with pills or surgery, Overlight looks at disease from a belief that these conditions are presented to us for the reason of attaining mastery of the primary life lesson and is a necessary part of life.

As previously stated, I believe that this total shift of perspective from giving our power away to doctors or healers of any kind to one of taking personal responsibility for ourselves in all aspects of life is happening right now.

I like to believe that deep down we feel that relying on the medical system to solve our mental and physical conditions is inherently unnatural, giving impetus to the ever increasing use of alternative healing modalities that give us back the power and subsequently the responsibility for our own healing, like Overlight.

Being an Overlight facilitator comes with a set of parameters to follow that are a necessary part for anyone who practises Overlight or any other alternative healing.

These 12 suggestions allow facilitators to keep balanced while creating space for others to heal themselves:

1. Healing can only take place with each person holding their own power. The first and most important concern is to find ways to facilitate others without taking their power from them.

2. All facilitation must be by request. It is not possible to facilitate healing without their specific request.

3. It is only possible to facilitate healing with the highest intent. There is no secrets. and must allow our intentions to be fully seen.

4. As healers we understand that illness is not always a sign that something is wrong. Illness sometimes facilitates change and is only one state of health.

5. It is important to always speak our truth but in doing so know that truth is always a work in progress. We have to leave room for growth in the words we speak. We must honor all flavors of the truth no matter how different they seem from our own. Allowing other people to stand in their truth without being threatened by ours. Competition is an illusion of separateness that is no longer valid.

6. We must check our egos often and examine truthfully the motivations for our words and actions.

7. We must practise the art of discernment in making choices without judgement and only choose what things and ideas that nurture us.

8. Not be afraid to say "I do not know". Make space for empowerment of all and that none of us has all the answers but together, all of us has access to all the answers.

9. Know that the true strength of a healer lies in our vulnerability. If we share our mistakes openly then our perceived weaknesses will become our greatest strengths.

10. We must remember that we have no control over the thoughts that come into our head but have complete control over what stays there. Take responsibility for becoming the master of our thoughts and share the process with others around us.

11. Know that we all have the same base motivation. We are all looking for answers to the major life questions and remember that the easiest way to do that is to do it together.

12. Know that it is not possible to heal another. It is only possible to offer them the space in which to heal themselves, if they choose. We will not take responsibility for the healing of anyone but ourself. Responsibility is the balance of power. We help people to take responsibility for their own healing so that they may hold their true power.

These suggestions were designed for Overlight facilitators but I believe they can hold for anyone who's purpose is to facilitate healing of others. This is the future of healing in what I call the new planet earth.

I hope that if you read all 5 parts of this series that all or even one sentence rang true for you and you could relate the information to something that you have experienced in your life. My intent with writing this was to offer an alternative for people who believe that there is more to this human experience than just getting by or enduring everyday life with that empty sentiment of "Is this all there is?"

I truly believe the concept that we are not just human beings wrestling with the idea of spirituality but, in fact, we are spiritual beings coping with the process of a human awakening. This concept give us the knowledge that there are higher truths about life waiting for us to discover. Now that, to me, is reason enough to celebrate and enjoy every second of it.

Seth Garrison is a certified Overlight Facilitator and creator of the energy healing system called "Back to Perfection". Overlight is a spiritual psychology that is designed to identify the root source of their dis-ease, be it mental or physical, and create a space for them to feel comfortable enough to heal themselves. Jesus Camp Video

Tell me what "Jesus Camp" on You Tube is about?

I'm on rural dial-up and You Tube videos always take me over an hour to download - so, I'd prefer a review!
Holy socks bongernet!! No wonder Philip Pullman had to write that book! I knew things were getting bad in the States, but I didn't realise they were that bad. They'll be creating suicide bombers next, at this rate!

It's THE scariest movie ever. It's pure indoctrination, with clear survivalist undertones. There's just something wrong about giving kids hammers and having them smash cups that represent "the enemy"...

or kids in camo and facepaint dancing around with sticks... little warriors of god...

While most of it the basic fundie drivel... the rest just makes me want to prepare for the the day they'll start clensing the world of unwanted people...

EDIT
------
Yea, the bush thing is sorta funny... in a dark and twisted way. The touching his picture like they're touching the feet of a messiah is a bit sick.

And there's this one bit that made me laugh out loud. One of the camp leaders is a.... pretty well fed woman... and she does this rant about people who are greedy and stuff... that was hilarious. I bet she didn't see the hypocracy at all, which made it funnier.

Jesus Crucifixion Article

I thought Jesus died so people wouldn't have to do this?

I was reading an article in the paper the other day, and it was talking about how the Philippians were reenacting Jesus' crucifixion by nailing themselves to wooden crosses. It was in honor of Good Friday. Now, I'm Catholic, and call me crazy, but I thought Jesus died on the cross so people wouldn't have to go through things like that?

Thoughts? Opinions?

98% of the Philippians are Catholics. And they do a reenactment of the Passion in which there is a real crucifixion. The only difference is that the actor portraying Jesus doesn't actually die on the cross.

Jesus Ultrasound Image

There can be no limitation.

Since we are dealing with the infinite principles of God, no possible limitation can be placed upon it. It is man's choice to extract from God's storehouse in how much infinite power he/she is willing to experience. It is a matter of acceptance. The principles of God's laws are continues because they are infinite in His nature. The scope of man's knowledge is extremely limited but even though man cannot comprehend all there is, he can adjust to it in small increments. In 1900 man could not comprehend talking on cellular phones yet they are commonplace today. In the field of medicine, EKG recorders, ultrasound machines, halter recorders, defibrillators just to name a few, were not even thought of only a few years age.

Principles of God are always present

To reiterate, the principles of God are always there; waiting to be discovered, they are infinite in stature, never change nor do they ever dissipate; they only add to the experience of man and magnificence of God. The principles of God are as intensive and as extensive as He is, for they encompass all of what He is. God is the depth and width of existence within Himself. He is the essence of all prognostics. Nothing can happen, or exist without His controlling principles.

How much man can discover is left in the hands of man. God puts no limitations only responsibilities.

Forces at work

The principalities of God are His forces at work. God is invisible Spirit, which is the purest of all energy. He uses angelic forces to commutate throughout His creation.

Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and

invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Evil is a principality of God. God clearly says He is jealous, wrathful, and judging. These characteristics are the measure of good. Evil exist to justify good. God justifies evil as a test of man's endurance. Humans cannot understand well unless there is something to gauge it by. Evil complements good it makes it viable, understandable and worthy.

Evil

Ex 32:12 Why should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from your fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against your people.

Ex 32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do to his people.

Wrathful

De 9:8 Also in Horeb you provoked the LORD to wrath,, so that the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you.

De 29:28 And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.

Jealous

Ex 20:5 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Jos 24:19 And Joshua said to the people, You cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

Na 1:2 God is jealous, and the LORD revenges; the LORD revenges, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserves wrath for his enemies.

IT'S A TUG OF WAR WORLD

Many times Christians are disliked for reasons other than being religious. Christians like to think it is because they are spiritual it tends to irritate people, when in reality, it may be their annoying personality.

It is true that the impure spirit of the world is opposed to the pure Spirit of God. All humans born are accountable to him who is born of the Spirit. Taking into full consideration the weakness of man to the attraction of the world it becomes clear that some Christians tend to irritate people through their own personality faults instead of through their trying to imitate the qualities of Jesus Christ. The Christian community may as well admit this and do something about it. It does no good to try and hide unpleasantness and annoying dispositions behind a verse of Scripture. This avenue of behavior is detrimental and serves to alienate the nonbeliever from Jesus Christ.

Social Sins Are Tolerable

Strangely enough, it is a fact of life that social sins are more tolerable and always more attractive than spiritual ones. The world can tolerate a liar, thief, drunkard or glutton but will turn its' fury against a Christian's outwardly righteous life who is guilty of being a hypocrite. The nonbeliever may not recognize this as a sin but to the Christian it may be more exceeding sinful than the sins of the flesh. Christians must be in the world but not of the world in order to survive the world.

The world beckons, trying to seduce the Spiritual Person into its' existence. It tries to make the Spiritual Person its' own, its' lover, its' faithful servant.

Rev 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

In today's world of inventive imagination the church is more active than ever, but less attuned to Jesus Christ. The church has turned into a social club with all the bells and whistles of self fulfillment. Where is the dedication, the discipleship, the fervor? Has the light, indeed grown dim?

Jesus Precious Jesus

How precious is the Name of Jesus to you as a Christian?

The saints in the book of Acts were persecuted because of the Name of the Lord.. calling on the name of the Lord was one of the ways that saul of tarsus identified the believers. What is it in this name that satan wants to utterly blot out? This name that is above all names under the earth..on the earth and in heaven. This name that is the sweetest name on earth... the name that we cry out when we are deepest pit and are rescued. The name that the overcomers in the Church in Philadelphia ( Revelation 3) held fast to and did not deny.
Today we are called CHRIST-ians. Those that are Of and belong to Christ. What does His name truly mean to us. Would we ever deny His name? Would we take the name of another over His. Do we say I am baptist. or wesleyian or catholic or penticostal Or do we just say we are CHRIST-ians.
Share with me.. what is this name JESUS CHRIST! to you:)

Jesus Christ to me means life, God, Lord and Savior. I claim no religion. Religion to me is "man by man's efforts trying to earn the approbation of God through good works" I am a Christian, who is a follower of Christ - - ridding myself of cosmic system thinking and replacing it with Christ-like thought through study and application of His word from the original languages on a daily basis. Becoming Grace oriented as He is and trying to follow His principles as stated in the Bible. There are many who are truly Christians, but never study His word. Without study and application there is no growth. Going to church on Sunday and ignoring Bible teaching the rest of the week will not make one a mature believer. So those who say the are Christians, may very well be, they just may be "baby" believers. Every Christian is at a different stage of spiritual growth and we have to be patient with each and every one as Christ is with us. Growth happens over a lifetime and witnessing through our behavior - - being Christ-like - - is what we are commanded to do. Learn every day. Sinless perfection is impossible, but keeping short accounts, and keep getting up when we fall down is important. Here is a good site to get daily Bible teaching for free for anyone reading this who may like that. http://www.gbible.org/
