Sweet Heart of Jesus – Regina Nathan
Regina Nathan singing Sweet Heart of Jesus, from Faith of Our Fathers concert, filmed in the Point Theatre in Dublin1997. Sweet Heart of Jesus, font of love and mercy Today we come, Thy blessing to implore. Oh touch our hearts, so cold and so ungrateful And make them Lord, Thine own for evermore. Sweet Heart of Jesus we implore, Oh make us love Thee more and more. Sweet Heart of Jesus, make us pure and gentle And teach us how to do Thy blessed will; To follow close the print of Thy dear footsteps And when we fall, Sweet Heart, oh love us still. Sweet Heart of Jesus we implore, Oh make us love Thee more and more.

Lovely hymn, good singer, thanks Machree.
beautiful song, magnificent voice.
One of my favourite hymns which I’ve been playing on the organ since childhood. This is a particularly fine version of it. I love Regina Nathan’s voice. I have a video and two CDs of this concert.
What fond memories I have of growing up in Scotland and singing this in the choir as a wee girl, my absolute favorie hymn.
What a fabulous voice Regina Nathan has.
Thank you so much for uploading this clip!
I heard Regina Nathan’s voice on Dutch TV about 5 or 6 years ago, and I instantly fell in love with that rich tone combined with the completely effortless and smooth top register. I found her on the internet, eventually, but there was no complete recording of any of her performances available online, until the moment you uploaded this.
